# The Walking Man

He doesn't run. He doesn't bargain. He walks.

The Walking Man is a folk figure stitched together from every late-night highway story you've ever heard — the man with the long coat seen at the edge of town, the one who appears when you're lost and points at nothing in particular, the one whose footprints stop at the treeline. Some say he carries luck. Some say he *is* luck — the kind you have to earn the slow way, one mile at a time.
